Loma Linda University Children's Hospital will be holding its 17th annual gala this Saturday. The gala is called, "Got Heart!" presented by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians and marks 25 years of successful infant heart transplantation at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital. Dr. Bailey, the pioneering transplant surgeon, will be honored at the gala, receiving the "Got Heart!" award to honor his service and contributions to children's medicine.
Performing at this gala will be Grammy-winning singer Vikki Carr. With almost five decades in the music industry, Carr has won three Grammys, and has released over 60 bestselling records including "It Must Be Him" and "Can't Take My Eyes Off You."
