SAN MANUEL: Goo Goo Dolls perform May 3

This announcement will get some adult contemporary earworms stuck in your head all day--the Goo Goo Dolls are coming to San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino in Highland on May 3.

The band, which is from Buffalo, N.Y., started out on Metal Blade Records, former home of heavy metal acts such as Cannibal Corpse and Slayer.

The Goo Goo Dolls had a breakthrough with the album "A Boy Named Goo" and the hit "Name."

Then, the hits just kept coming for the band from the mid-1990s on, with songs such as "Iris," "Black Balloon," "Slide" and "Here Is Gone."

Tickets are go on sale at 11 a.m. via Ticketmaster.com and the San Manuel Box Office for $40, $45 and $50. Guests must be 21 or older to enter the casino.
