Desert residents will have plenty to be thankful for this year when the 31st Annual Indio Powwow takes place at the Cabazon Indian Reservation and Fantasy Springs Resort and Casino Nov. 23-25.
The powwow will feature authentic foods like Indian fry bread and vendors selling Native American art and jewelry.
The highlight of the event will be the bird singing and grand entry when all groups make their entrance into the arena.

Friday, Nov. 23: 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. Grand Entry: 8 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 24: 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Grand Entry: 1 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 25: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Grand Entry: 1 p.m.
