MORONGO: Chaka Khan is 'Every Woman' Jan. 18

R&B legend Chaka Khan will no doubt bring the house down when she performs at Morongo Casino Resort and Spa Friday, Jan. 18 at 9 p.m.

Khan burst on the scene in the 1970s with the band Rufus and the funk anthem "Tell Me Something Good." They followed up that success with the karaoke staples "Ain't Nobody" and "Sweet Thing."

Once Khan went solo she never looked back releasing hit after hit. "I Feel For You," "Through the Fire" and of course "I'm Every Woman" are all still in constant radio rotation.

You can't turn on a season of "The Voice," "The X Factor" or "American Idol" without hearing a few Chaka Khan covers.
