Eighties pop group The Mary Jane Girls are still at it and will bring their funk/R&B sound to Morongo Casino and Resort Friday Jan. 18 at 10:30 p.m.
The Mary Jane Girls were a creation of Rick James, who made the group to feature lead singer Jojo McDuffie.
The group's hits include "Candy Man," "All Night Long" and "In My House." Their sexy, suggestive personas made them a staple of music video channels in the '80s.
The group performing at Morongo will feature Rick James associate Val Young and original member Candi Ghent.
Tickets are $10 and available through Ticketmaster.
