PECHANGA: Kathy Griffin shows no mercy at Nov. 3 show

Before comedian Kathy Griffin hit the stage for the first of her two shows Saturday night at Pechanga Resort and Casino, a video displaying her many outrageous TV appearances was shown. It highlighted all the shows that she is now banned from thanks to her no holds barred style.

The audience screamed its approval at her face offs with "The View's" Elisabeth Hassleback, insults from Sarah Palin and Bill O'Reilly and a striptease on "Late Show with David Letterman."

Then came the main event. From the minute she came out Griffin let fans know that she would not be taking it easy on them just because it was the 7 p.m. show.

She cited walk outs at recent shows in Florida as inspiration. She made her politics clear up front, almost immediately going after Palin and her followers.

Once she got politics out of the way, she started in on Britney Spears and Demi Lovato's job judging "The X Factor." From there it was a non-stop, very funny frenetic trip through Paul Deen, Honey Boo Boo, the Hulk Hogan sex tape and of course the "Real Housewives."

Griffin's Bravo talk show "Kathy" premieres its second season Jan. 10, however, that did not stop her from making a few humorous observations about Andy Cohen and the antics of the various "Housewives." She even shared a little inside gossip on meeting a few of the women.

Perhaps the highlight of the evening were her hilarious real life tweets and texts from her new friend Cher. Yes, that Cher.

Apparently Cher hasn't quite figured out that tweets are public and Griffin seems to revel in that fact and shared several of her communications from the icon.

She ended the night with an extremely entertaining story about meeting Celine Dion after one of her Las Vegas performances and how the larger than life singer routinely burst into song during their conversation..

All in all it was a fun, evening of "negativity and profanity," which is exactly what Griffin promised.
