|

On the northern fringe of town, there is a drive-thru of more than 450 displays in the Glittering Lights presentation at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

There will be the world's longest tunnel of lights around the 2.5-mile track and a Forest of Trees. Each tree is decorated by one of the 55 charities that receive a portion of ticket sales.

It is open evenings 5:30 to 9 p.m. with an additional hour added of Fridays through Sundays for the holiday season. Admission is $15 per car Mondays through Thursdays and $20 per car for the weekend evenings. Coupons for a $2 discount are available at all Goodwill Industries sites with the donation of gently used items.

The first 15,000 visitors will receive a filled gift bag.

Tickets are available at any area Walgreen's or online at www.2012.glitteringlightslasvegas.com or at the raceway.

Hot chocolate and coffee are available.
