Pala Casino Spa and Resort will start the year off in style with a charity poker tournament benefiting the American Red Cross Hurricanes 2012 Fund.
The tournament will be in the poker room at Pala Tuesday, Jan. 1 at 2 p.m., with funds specifically earmarked for the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
There is a $45 buy-in and a $15 entry fee. Players will begin with $3,000 in chips and can purchase an additional $5,000 during registration for $25.
