
R&B supergroup The Commodores will dance their way into Agua Caliente Casino Resort and Spa Friday, April 5.
The Commodores were one of the biggest acts of the '70s and '80s, putting out a string of hit singles including "Brick House," "Easy," "Lady (You Bring Me Up)" and "Too Hot to Trot."
The band met in college at Tuskegee University and got its start as an opening act for The Jackson 5. Originally led by Lionel Richie, the group now consists of original members Walter "Clyde" Orange and William "WAK" King along with J.D. Nicholas.
The Commodores remain popular, with their music still receiving heavy airplay on radio and in dance clubs.
Tickets are on sale Saturday, Feb. 2 at the Agua Caliente box office, www.hotwatercasino.com and www.startickets.com for $30, $40 and $50.
