Bingo fans in southwest Riverside county can rejoice when Pechanga Bingo makes its triumphant return in July.
Bingo was once a staple of the resort when it first opened, however, it was eventually phased out.
The casino brought the game back last summer as part of it anniversary celebration and it was extremely popular. When guests asked for its full time return, executives complied.
A new bingo hall is being built on the second floor of the resort across from the poker room. It will have 700 seats over two floors, a special events room for parties, a snack shop with gourmet offerings, free soda and water for players and a full bar.
Gaming upgrades include tablet gaming so players can watch several cards at once, although old school paper cards and daubers will still be available.
Pechanga Bingo is scheduled to begin in July.
