The sexiest golf tournament ever will tee off at Fantasy Springs Resort and Casino Friday, May 31 when the Link and Laces Golf Tournament takes place at Eagle Falls.

"All Star Celebrity Apprentice" star and 2001 Playmate of the year Brande Roderick will host along with 40 Girls of Golf.

The event kicks off with a cocktail reception Friday night at the 12th Floor Lounge. Then Saturday, June 1 at 10 a.m. the tournament tees off with a scramble format. In addition to the regular golf, there will be themed holes and activities like hul hoop contests and chair massages.

Following the tournament on Saturday night is an awards party and on Sunday, June 2 there is a pool party to wrap things up.

Entry is $600 per person or $2400 per foursome and includes a two night hotel stay, golf tournament, VIP players party, awards party and pool party.

Eagle Falls Golf Course will hold a celebrity golf tournament benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project of Palm Springs Friday, Jan. 4 and Saturday, Jan. 5.

The event kicks off with a registration and pairing party Friday, Jan. 4 from 7-9 p.m. at the 12th Floor Wine Bar inside Fantasy Springs Resort and Casino.

The scramble style tournament will have a shotgun tee off Saturday, Jan. 5 at 10 a.m.

The tournament is hosted by football player/actor Fred "The Hammer" Williamson with appearances from actress Salli Richardson-Whitfield and athletes Jim Brown, Norm Nixon, Frank Robinson, Willie Gault and many others.

Entry fee is $200 per player or $750 for a foursome.

The Wounded Warrior Project helps injured service men and women returning from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as other conflicts around the world.

INDIO - Eagle Falls Golf Course Director of Golf Willie Maples has been a PGA member for 39 years.

Part of the Maples family golf clan, a family of golf professionals and course architects dating back to 1856, Maples runs the show for the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino course. Previously, Maples served as the Director of Golf for the Sands Hotel & Casino and brought the LPGA to Atlantic City in 1985.

Throw in 20 years of experience working as Casino Host for Trump Plaza Hotel Casino and Director of Player Development for Bally's Hotel Casino.

Maples became Director of Golf for Eagle Falls Golf Course when it opened in April 2007. The course, which has features usually seen on private courses such as elevated tees and greens, undulating fairways, strategic bunkering, five large lakes, and running water features leading players to the signature 18th hole with a triple flow waterfall.

His father, Palmer Maples, Jr., was also a golf professional and well known in the Carolinas and Georgia for bringing courses there to prominence.
