harrahs_jobfair.JPG

To prepare for the big renovations the resort is currently undergoing, Harrah's Rincon has a job fair scheduled for Saturday, May 4 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

As part of the expansion the resort is adding a new Mexican restaurant, lazy river and swim up bar to the pool, a banquet hall that can also be a 2,200 seat concert venue and 21 story tower with more guestrooms.

Harrah's also has several positions currently listed on its site including restaurant server, barback, bartender, beverage server, pool attendant, lifeguard and pool/restaurant supervisor.

The entertainment and events center is scheduled to open December 1 and the new tower is scheduled for an April 2014 opening. The tower will culminate in a big grand opening for the entire property.

HARRAH'S RINCON: Nutcracker starts holiday season Nov. 10

|

moscow_nutcracker.JPG

It's not officially holiday time until productions of "The Nutcracker" start popping up everywhere.

The first production of the season is at Harrah's Rincon Saturday, Nov. 10 at 8 p.m.

For the uninitiated, "The Nutcracker" tells the story of Clara, a young girl who receives a Nutcracker prince doll for Christmas and loves it so much she falls asleep under the tree protecting it.

She dreams of visiting faraway lands with her prince and hears tales of the battle with the Mouse King.

Among the ballet's most famous moments are the dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies, the battle between the Nutcracker prince and the Mouse King, the celebration of dances and the final pas de deux.

The Harrah's Rincon show will be performed by the world famous Moscow Ballet.

Tickets for the Harrah's Rincon show are available through Ticketmaster for $40, $50 and $60.
