Comedienne/actress Charo will bring her unique blend of comedy and classic guitar to Morongo Casino Resort and Spa Friday, Dec. 13.

Charo is famous for her appearances on popular '70s variety shows "Laugh-In," "Sonny and Cher" and "The Carol Burnett Show." She is most well known for her eight appearances on "The Love Boat." She has been on the show more than anyone else.

Charo is also an expert classical guitarist and has released several albums of Spanish music. She continued to tour, playing to packed crowds in Branson and Las Vegas.

Tickets for the 9 p.m. show are on sale Friday, May 17 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $20 and $29.

It's not everyday that you can get up close and personal with a Playboy playmate, however, Morongo Casino Resort and Spa will make it happen Thursday, April 18 from 7-9 p.m.

Fans of '80s R&B will be excited to see Jeffrey Osborne play Morongo Casino and Resort Friday, Aug. 23.

Osborne is most well known for his hits "On the Wings of Love," "Stay With Me Tonight" and "You Should Be Mine (The Woo Woo Song)."

He got his start as the lead singer of L.T.D, whose biggest hit is "(Every Time I Turn Around) Back in Love Again."

Tickets for the 9 p.m. show are available through Ticketmaster for $29 and $39.

Morongo Casino and Resort celebrates its variety of dining options with Morongo restaurant week running Monday, April 22 through Sunday, April 28.

Four of the resort's top eateries will be offering special entrees and menus priced at $20.13.

Cielo will give guests a choice between four entrees: chicken tikka, 7 oz. flat iron steak, spiced beef tenderloin tips and pan seared duck breast.

Café Serrano has a three course meal that begins with a choice of garden salad or soup du jour, followed by entrée choice of beef stroganoff or roasted pork loin and chocolate bomb dessert.

Natural 9 Noodle Company has three courses that begins with an appetizer choice of pork and vegetable egg rolls or pork buns, followed by entrée choice of shrimp wonton soup, spicy chicken tom kah soup or yakisoba noodles and finshed with sesame balls or Asian ice cream trio for dessert.

Tacos & Tequilas offers a three course combo dinner that includes appetizer choice of beef flautas or chicken tostada, an entrée choice between enchiladas, soft tacos or pork carnitas with chicken tamale and cheese enchilada. Meal is finished with dessert choice of tres leches cake or morenita chocolate brownie.

Yes it's April and I have holiday news. It starts earlier and earlier every year.

Jazz legends Hiroshima will play Morongo Casino Resort and Spa Friday, Dec. 20.

The Japanese-American jazz fusion band first grabbed attention with their 1979 release "Roomful of Mirrors." It was the big hit "One Wish" that gave them crossover success.

In addition to composing a song for "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier," the band also did the theme music for chef Ming Tsai's "Simply Ming" cooking show.

After 30 years together Hiroshima still regularly tours and puts out records. They will no doubt play many fan favorites and probably a few holiday classics.

Funkmaster extraordinaire George Clinton will party into Morongo Casino Resort and Spa Friday, April 5.

As the creative force behind Parliament and Funkadelic, Clinton is responsible for classic party anthems like "Tear the Roof off the Sucker (Give up the Funk)," "Flash Light," "One Nation Under A Groove" and "Atomic Dog."

Clinton will appear at Morongo with The Bar-Kays, Con Funk Shun and The Mary Jane Girls.
