Murrieta library launches summer reading activities

The Murrieta Public Library's Summer Reading Program opened June 11, and lasts through July 23. The program has three themes developed for different age groups.

The "One World, Many Stories" theme focuses on reading and program activities for children; while "You Are Here" programs are for teens and young adults. "Novel Destination" is for adult readers.

Visit the library to pick up a reading log, browse books or enjoy one of the family programs.

Upcoming activities include the Hullabaloo Concert: Hullabaloo on June 23 at 10 a.m., a group drum circle with Marcus Miller on June 30 at 10:30 a.m., and live animals from exotic regions from the Wildlife Company on July 7 at 10:30 a.m.
