Say goodbye to the Year of the Rabbit and hello Year of the Dragon. Families are invited to celebrate the Year of the Dragon at the 2012 Chinese New Year Family Discovery Day on Jan. 21. Always a popular event, the museum will celebrate the New Year with hands-on activities, including an artist-led calligraphy workshop with Calligrapher Cheng Chao Hung, storytelling with Master Storyteller Karen Rae Kraut, the Ontario City Library and much more.
This event is co-sponsored by the Pomona Valley Chinese Association and will take place from noon to 4:00 p.m. Admission is free. The museum is located at 225 South Euclid Ave. in Ontario. For more information, call 909-395-2510.
