Volunteers spent eight hours and a couple of gallons of paint to create the playhouse, now being displayed near the Pottery Barn store at the outlet center, off I-15 on Nichols Road in Lake Elsinore. The outlet center asks shoppers to donate $5 for each chance to win the playhouse. The center is accepting drawing entries on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 21, when it will conduct the drawing to give away the prize. Or drop off an entry at Habitat for Humanity's ReStore locations, at 571 Central Ave., Ste. I, Lake Elsinore, or at 27479 Enterprise Circle West, Temecula. There is no purchase necessary and no age limit for the drawing.

Anyone entering the drawing at the shopping center gets a second free entry by visiting one of the ReStore locations with their drawing ticket. The outlet center will notify the winner by phone on Dec. 21.

According to the outlet center's press release, Habitat for Humanity has bought, renovated and resold 10 houses through its Neighborhood Stabilization Project. Other programs took place in Sun City, Perris, Lake Elsinore, Murrieta and Temecula.
