The most visible faces at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival happened to be made of felt.
The bobbly-wobbly-suited cast of characters of the basic-cable kid TV juggernaut "Yo Gabba Gabba" stormed the festival grounds, filming segments for the show all over the event.
They ignited hugfests wherever they went, including on stage with various performers, from DJ Lance Rock to King Khan and The Shrines. The king embraced each member of Team Gabba, but also gave a couple of them a royal boot in the rear as they departed.
The show is a major kidvid phenomenon, passionately viewed in households from the Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie brood to The White House.
The Gabboids, however, did not make themselves available for one-on-one interviews. In fact, as humans appeared to be climbing out from within the character suits, a handler waved off photographers.
"They're popping out of the Gabba pods," he said as he scurried up, "No photos, please."
Guess someone has to protect the Gabba magic.
