Did you miss yesterday's Stagecoach Country Music Festival?
Here are our Cliff's Notes:
The legend: Merle Haggard's perfect sunset set that reminded us about the real spirit of country music.
Most metal moment: Trampled By Turtles shredding the heck out of traditional acoustic instruments in the most raucous Mustang Stage performance ever.
Best disco groove: Sugarland rocking out to Blondie's "Heart of Glass."
Audience pleaser: Headliner Keith Urban gets off the Mane Stage and into the crowd.
Miss-Understood: Victoria Williams' brilliant eclectic set drowned out by annoying drunk people trying to find the port-a-potties.
Best use of an instrument: Phil Vassar not only plays the piano, he jumps on it and slides across it, too.
Where's Warped Tour: Tiger Army's Nick 13 makes his country debut with a stellar set that's a lot more country and a tiny bit rock 'n' roll.
Best service: Cowboy poet Baxter Black gets a beer from an audience member delivered to him on stage.
