Last week, the site of the Palomino Stage at the Stagecoach Country music Festival was the Sahara Tent at Coachella, where the dancing never stopped.
This week, Carlene Carter got the tent dancing again.
After an entertaining set full of funny anecdotes and good tunes, Carter came back to the stage and said she just keeps playing until she plays everything she knows.
Carter ended the set for real with her '90s hit "I Fell in Love" and got the crowd to shimmy and sing along with the song.
She also did a really nice cover of "Ring of Fire."
She went on 30 minutes late and ended 10 minutes after her scheduled time.
Chuck Mead is supposed to take the stage at 2:55 p.m., but I think we'll be running a little behind.
