Stagecoach: When the plug gets pulled, you keep going

Mary Gauthier, who opened up the Palomino Stage this afternoon, has decided that the festival will not decide when she ends her set.

She was supposed to end at 1:10 p.m. and when the plug was pulled a few minutes later mid-song, Gauthier took her fiddle player and her guitarist and moved to the side of the stage to wrap up her final song.

Carlene Carter was supposed to start at 1:15 p.m. I think she'll be a little late.

Gauthier decided to do another song without power, despite going 5 minutes into Carter's set time.

UPDATE: Gauthier is still playing as it nears 1:30 p.m., but the plug didn't get pulled, the power went out. It also went out in the Mustang Stage. They should have had the good folks at Global Inheritance use their manpower on the human hamster wheel to power the stages.
