C.J. Ramone to rock Corona

HEY! HO! LET'S GO!

C.J. Ramone, whose real name is C.J. Ward, is coming to Angel's Sports Bar in Corona on July 10.

He'll be playing lots of tunes from The Ramones, which he joined in 1989, replacing Dee Dee Ramone, who died in 2002.

The Tone Junkies, JJ & The Real Jerks are set to play with Ramone in Corona.

Ramone is also performing with Mental Breakdown, Yeastie Boys, Darling Nikki and Obsequy at the Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana on July 9.

Looking for YouTube clips from Ramone's last show at the venue, it looks like he does a cover of Motorhead's "R.A.M.O.N.E.S.," which was a tribute by the British metal band to the New York punk band.

8:30 p.m. July 10, Angel's Sports Bar1650 E. 6th St. Corona, 951-371-9738, 21 and older.
