Just caught part of Fistful of Mercy, a supergroup made up of Claremont native Ben Harper, Dhani Harrison and Joseph Arthur.
Their music is very sun-soaked California, With harmonies evoking Laurel Canyon in the 1970s.
The trio hung out and recorded their debut album in a matter of days.
The set today was about 15 minutes late, due to what looked like technical difficulties.
They opened with "In Vain or True," followed by "As I Call You Down" and "Fistful of Mercy." I wish I could have stayed longer, but I wanted to get back for part of Death From Above 1979.
