Well, it just wouldn't be the same if we didn't have the fake posters for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
This one is so popular that it's even trending on Twitter. Have a look.
This one looks pretty good. I'm glad to see someone is paying attention to my earlier pick of Tom Waits.
Now that I'm starting to get touring schedules into the new year, I am starting to pick up some more steam in my Coachellaology.
Here are two more picks for you.
1-Young the Giant
I just got the band's tour dates through the spring and they end in early April in Utah, just before Coachella and the band has some sold-out O.C. shows later this month and a date in San Diego early next year, but nothing on the calendar for L.A.
2-Childish Gambino
Childish Gambino (who is also known as "Community" actor Donald Glover) is blowing up. Chang Weisberg, head of Guerilla Union, who puts on Rock the Bells and Paid Dues, told me back over the summer that this was going to be one artist to watch. Weisberg is always on target with artists to watch. Childish Gambino just released "Camp," too. Plus, fellow Guide reporter Tim Guy thinks he'll be there, too. Tim also thinks it's going to be Weird Al's year.
