AVICII, one of the hottest stars in electronic music, is head to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival next month.
He appeared at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami this weekend and had a very special guest join him on stage--Madonna.
The pop icon introduced AVICII's main stage headlining set at Ultra and then joined him behind the decks for the premiere of his remix of her new single "Girl Gone Wild" from her new album "MDNA." (Photo above courtesy of Seth Browarnik/Worldredeye.com.)
Madonna is no stranger to the festival scene--she performed at Coachella in 2006 packing the electronica and dance-fueled Sahara Tent beyond its capacity.
Since AVICII is scheduled to appear at Coachella on April 15 and 22, perhaps we'll get another Madonna sighting in Indio.
Fun fact: AVICII's hit "Levels," which was used in a Super Bowl commercial for Bud Light Platinum, includes a sample of "Something's Got a Hold on Me," featuring the vocals of the late singing icon and Riverside area resident Etta James.
