Things we just learned--Blake Shelton really digs Foster the People's "Pumped Up Kicks."
He's pitted Charlotte Sometimes and Lex Land against each other for this round.
Shelton chose those two because of their personalities.
Charlotte's advisor is Kelly Clarkson. "Vocally she's stellar, she's got a killer voice," Clarkson said.
Charlotte wants to tone herself down a little bit.
Lex is getting advice from Shelton's wife, Miranda Lambert--Lambert and Shelton are headlining the final day of the 2012 Stagecoach Country Music Festival, by the way.
Lex is trying to get over her nerves.
"There's a mystery to you. Something draws me to you," Lambert said.
She thinks Lex is more confident than she lets on.
Lambert also leaves Lex a nice voicemail while she is driving.
Another commercial break and now we're back with more introductions from Carson Daly.
I don't think I understand this song choice other than it's really popular.
Charlotte seemed to be too overdone for me.
Christina Aguilera calls Lex's voice "sexy." She called Charlotte "sassy."
Cee Lo would have picked Charlotte. Adam would have picked Lex.
But the decision is Blake's. He selects Charlotte.
I liked Lex more.
Cee Lo's cat is nowhere to be seen.
