The Animal Friends of the Valleys will hold a Wines for Canines fundraiser at Wilson Creek Winery on August 29.
The guest speaker will be Michael Arms, an internationally acclaimed animal welfare advocate who established the North Shore Animal League Adopt-a-Thon where he handled more than 400,000 animal adoptions. He has also established the Home 4 the Holidays Adoption Drive at Helen Woodward Animal Center where over three million animals have been adopted.
