The Jason Debus Heigl Foundation's "Compassion Revolution" Campaign has generously awarded HEAL (Helping Every Animal League) with a $50,000 spay/neuter grant for dogs. We are happy to announce that we will be taking phone appointments starting Friday, October 1, 2010. This will be a FREE spay or neuter for ALL household dogs which live in the areas serviced by the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter. All surgeries will be performed at General Dog and Cat Hospital located at 456 S Arrowhead Ave in San Bernardino. Some restrictions will apply. Please contact Tammy for an appointment or further information at 909-436-8065.
The guidelines are that the dog(s) live within the areas of SB City, Fontana, Colton, Grand Terrace and Loma Linda. Proof of residence (photo id along with a current utility bill) will be required, as well as proof of current rabies vaccination (must be the certificate not just the dog's tags). If the dogs are not current on their rabies vaccines, General Dog and Cat Hospital will offer the rabies vaccine at the discounted price of $10 per dog on the day of the surgery.
